TEGSA looks forward to meeting and socializing with all members at the Commandar Park Recreation Centre, 140 Commander Blvd. Activites are held every Thursday from September8, 2005 until April 27, 2006 from 5.00-10.00p.m. Following are the activities: Bingo, Whist Drive, Bridge, Instructed Line Dancing and other activities of Interest...

September: September 29 at 7.00 p.m. (prompt) Spiritual Healing & Remembering the deceased members of families and friends at  Holy Mass. Rev. Fr.Stan D'Souza will celebrate the Mass. After  refreshments will be served.

October:    October 13 at 7.30p.m. Ladainha is planned. Your participation will be appreciated. Do come along and honour Our Mother Mary. Boiled gram, light snacks and refreshments will be served. Fun Activities as usual.

October 20 at 7.15 p.m a talk by Frank Jannetta, Marketing co-ordinator from Catholic Cemeteries on Catholic burial and benefits of pre-planning and other "Final Issues".

October 27 at 7.15p.m. 'Looking to the Future. 'This presentation will feature guest speaker Eric Tappenden, woner of Chapel Ridge Funeral Home. Eric will outline some facts and figures about funeral costs and preferences, options for pre-arranging and the benefits of the different kinds of pre-planning.

Meeting for Enrolment of Members & Election of Executive Committee

NEW 55+GOAN SENIORS GROUP for Mississauga-Brampton-Etobicoke

Venue:
Saint  Martin of Tours  Parish Hall, 129 Mcbride Avenue (Mavis & Burnamthorpe)
Date/Time October 18th, 2005  @ 7.30 p.m
Agenda:

A public meeting was held on Wednesday September 7, 2005, at the U of T Mississauga to obtain responses for the formation of  a seniors group (55+) serving the West End of Toronto including the Peel & Halton Regions. More than 45 responses were received, all in favour of starting the group. A mandate was given to the Steering Committee led by Tony Fernandes to proceed with the organization of the group.

The Steering Committee will be holding an enrolment/election meeting on October 18th, 2005  @ 7.30 p.m for the following:

- to enroll members

- to review and comment on a DRAFT constitution of the organization

- to elect the first Executive Committee

- to plan activities and events.

Eligible members will have to complete the enrollment  form and pay a fee to be eligible to vote. The figure decided is  $10 per person as an entrance fee and  will be non-refundable. A membership fee will also be charged  in January 2006.

 Please bring the completed enrolment form and the $10 enrolment fee to the meeting to be eligible for participating in the election of the new executive. Those who are unable to attend can send the completed form and cash with a friend or relative to the meeting, while others, who cannot access a computer, can fill the form at the meeting.

Prizes:
The jury members are donating great incentives for the best two contestants from Goa and for the best two living outside Goa.
